After an extensive renovation was undertaken for the previous owners – comprising of room repositioning, inclusion of additional rooms, decking and landscaping – the next owner, impressed with the quality of the renovations, engaged us to further transform the property. The project consisted of a full, new top floor attic conversion with counter levered floating deck; new in-ground concrete swimming pool fully tiled in mosaics; modifications to the kitchen and laundry as well as the conversion of a third bedroom into study. All this was completed with the overall objective of maximising natural sunlight, achieved through six skylights and a glass floor. This significant renovation was executed while the owners lived in a portion of the house. The quality and finish of the house was so distinguished, it featured in two highly regarded trade magazines and qualified as a finalist for the Master Builders Association 2013 "best roof & attic conversion".
